Architect & Artiste Anita Kulkarni nurtures a discerning taste in music and fine arts. Her training in Indian Classical music was under eminent music personalities.
Anita is a performing artiste and also an educator of music, and in her repertoire holds published CD’s, books and art shows. She produced-scripted-directed artistic productions such as ‘Panorama’ (the music-dance stage spectacle) that perform at prestigious venues in the world. Indian music is universally acclaimed for its spiritual essence.
Anita’s “Gandhaar” music appreciation workshop exploring the beauty and meditation in music is a well-received program among Indian and Western audience groups. Gandhaar is often supported by art grants.
As Creative Director, Anita designed and executed “Arts of India” – an event in partnership with The Taubman Museum of Art in Roanoke, Virginia, USA in 2014, featuring the Indian Classical music and dance genres.
Anita shows a rare artistry-vision-organization blend and is currently working on setting up ‘Renu’ – The Foundation for Arts. Renu will be an umbrella for a rich spectrum of artistic endeavors designed to foster creativity and enhance expression among communities. The Renu mission is to interpret the Classical Indian arts to Global audiences. Anita is based in Greater Princeton, New Jersey and splits her time between the USA and India.
The Musical Meditation album ‘Serenity’ presents two Indian raags “Ahir Bhairav” (morning) and “Bageshri” (night) along with guided imagery. Focused listening, and the experience of a beautiful meditation will be most natural!
