Our organic handmade soaps are made via the Cold Process method. This method of soap making requires a curing time of approximately 5 to 6 weeks. The Saponification process is completed during the first 2 weeks of curing. We slice the soaps & turn them periodically to expose all the sides of the soap to atmosphere. During the next 4 weeks as the water continues to evaporate the soap becomes more harder and lasts longer.
The basic rule of thumbs is “the longer the curing time, the longer the soaps lasts”.
Thus the curing process ensures a longer lasting soap with a rich lather.
